Vi um céu de fogo (I saw a sky of fire) is an installation consisting of blue objects resembling stones and artifacts, wooden silhouettes, light, and a carpeted floor covering. This work emerges from a historical and anthropological reflection on the immemorial human relationship with the sky. Universally regarded as an immense entity possessing powers beyond human comprehension, the sky has always offered an open plank to wonder and imagination. In particular, this work explores the interpretations of mysterious phenomena that happen in the sky and the rocks and metals that exist and come from the sky - the meteorites.
